IBM Power11 for an IBM i Customer - presented by Dan Sundt
Did you know that the IBM Power server family has now been refreshed with Power11 processor technology? From the Power S1122 and S1124 scale-out systems to the E1180 enterprise system, or Power11 running in IBM Power Virtual Server (PowerVS), customers have new server options. Power10 servers are also still available. IBM i customers need to know the capabilities and positioning of the entire Power server family, so attend this session to hear about the latest and greatest.
Dan Sundt is an IBM i product manager with a focus on IBM Power as-a-Service offerings such as IBM Power Virtual Server. He has the responsibility for the IBM i business, including defining and guiding future directions and strategies. He works with the IBM i sales, marketing, and development teams as well as customers and partners to ensure that the IBM i operating system and associated products reflect their requirements.
Dan has supported IBM i for over 30 years and has held a variety of positions at IBM. From working in the IBM i support center to helping customers architect optimal solutions from a technical sales standpoint. He has also provided support for many different Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and their applications on IBM Power hardware and software.
